Congratulations to PACE B – who have been crowned the champions of the Boccia East league, after winning the competition with 4 out of 6 wins, and a superior points difference to their rivals.
PACE B have had a series of challenges to overcome this season, including being moved to another league, significantly increased travel times, the costs incurred for this additional travel, and the uncertainty of playing new opponents in an unfamiliar league.
Despite this, the team have played fantastically well, whilst also knowing when they should be looking to attack and maximise points. This has proven to be significant, with PACE going through due to their brilliant points difference.
Captained by Hitesh, the team has also featured Jagjit, Anton, Arinze and Adam this season. The reward for winning the league is qualification for the National Finals, which will take place on July 13th, in Nottingham.
