Reshad Saraj recently secured a Silver medal in the BC2 men’s category at the Poznan Boccia World Challenger event, marking another significant achievement in his boccia career. This Polish success just comes a little over a month from Reshad’s amazing Finland Gold medal triumph.

The highlight in Poznan was an all British semi final where all eyes were on Reshad. The pressure was on him. Having achieved his greatest feats under the most immense pressure, this GB semi final was no different, coming out on top setting down a big marker going into the Paralympics and beyond.

Despite the semi final win, Reshad unfortunately fell short being denied gold by Belgium’s Francis Rombouts. But it’s still an amazing achievement to win silver and gain invaluable experience for what happens post Paris 2024.
