PACE is delighted to announce that one of our newest members, Mayella, has received the Jack Petchey
Achievement Award.
Mayella joined PACE towards the end of last year and has been a regular participant in the PACE Boccia
sessions, training with the PACE Boccia Squads.
Mayella has made an indelible impression in the group, has grown in confidence and is regularly voicing
her opinion and ideas to the more senior athletes. She is also extremely driven and dedicated to her
own improvement, reflecting constantly on her performance, and is always striving to do better. A
fantastic attitude to have which makes her a worthy recipient of the Jack Petchey Achievement Award.
