PACE proudly celebrates Jason Rolph’s impressive achievement in securing a bronze medal at the Boccia Regional Qualifier in Crawley. Competing in the BC2 category, Jason demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, overcoming strong opponents to earn his place on the podium. His performance highlights both his individual talent, which will be key for PACE Boccia ’s future success.
Throughout the tournament, Jason showcased a variety of Boccia shot techniques, demonstrating his tactical expertise. His precise push shots allowed him to control the Jack, while his well-executed roll shots ensured consistent placement of his balls in the scoring circle . Under pressure, he relied on lob, and knock off shots to overcome opponents’ defences and create opportunities, and his effective smash shots disrupted their strategies. This strategic versatility was key to his success as he progressed through the rounds with confidence and composure.
