PACE would like to thank Sam and Abida from the Beethoven Centre and all at a2dominion who supported them to raise vital funds for PACE through their pace4PACE fundraising event which took place in September at the Perivale Park Athletics Track.
Sam and Abida work at the Beethoven Centre (a2dominion) where PACE has been delivering sessions for the past three years for people with neurological conditions and severe physical impairments. Seeing the difference the sessions made to people’s lives, they decided to take up the challenge to run, roll or stroll 2km, 5km or 10km. They joined a team of 39 participants and surpassing their personal goals, they raised over a £1000 for PACE. To top it all, a2dominion donated an additional £100 in support.

I loved the event, I was gutted I couldn’t finish because I was late, but it’s inspired me in other ways.
Sam shared that taking part had a lasting positive impact, highlighting how the event motivated her to make small but meaningful changes to her everyday life….
